"A gardener, whose attention is ever on the spontaneities of nature, acquires the gift of seeing differences, looks always for the merest changes in plant growth, or in the composition of the soil, the emerging populations of insects and earthworms. So will gardeners, as parents, see changes of the smallest subtlety in their children, or as teachers see the signs of an increasing skill, and possibly wisdom, in their students. A garden, a family, a classroom—any place of human gathering whatsoever—will offer no end of variations to be observed, each an arrow pointing toward yet more changes. But these observed changes are not theatrically amusing to genuine gardeners; they dramatically open themselves to a renewed future.
So, too, with those who look everywhere for difference, who see the earth as source, who celebrate the genius in others, who are not prepared against but for surprise." - James Carse (Finite and Infinite Games)
The design that meets the standards
Psychological interventions are developed by taking into account concepts, theories and strategies that can better explain how our mind works, while achieving lasting health, a sense of safety or optimal performance. You should know that my interventions are designed according to the latest evidence-based standards (such as the NICE guidelines), allowing you to benefit of a cost-effective solution.
A flexible approach for human development
Psychotherapy, counselling and coaching are complementary psychological interventions. I am aware that your experience is different from everyone else’s, for this reason I will always aim to tailor the process to your needs, so that you may achieve the outcomes that mean the most to you. No matter if at first you choose to apply for a specific intervention. If at some point we find that your mind requires a different approach, I am willing to adapt the intervention strategy, at no extra cost.
Finding the right process for your mental needs
I will rely on hypnosis, humanistic approaches, positive psychology, disease prevention theories and problem-solving strategies. Therefore, whatever the cause of your distress, I can provide an evidence-based intervention that draws upon a range of scientifically validated techniques. This way, the intervention protocol can be adapted for self-development purposes, but also to deal with specific mental conditions such as depression, anxiety or schizophrenia.
Applied cognitive and behavioural principles
According to recent research, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is the most effective psychological approach.
This means, that our mind’s reactions are best explained by a psychological framework that takes into account the interaction between our thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
At the same time, CBT is being applied across interventions (mindfulness-based cognitive therapy) and also across environments (promoting wellbeing at the workplace or raising community awareness). Moreover, when combined with other related frameworks (positive psychology, agile principles) it can innovate the way you live and work.
